CU has finally opened its outlet in Desa Petaling. Now I can explore the Korea No.1 Convenient Store without travelling to Korea! They are selling a variety of foods, snacks, beverages and desserts etc.

1. Pumpukin & Injeolmi soft serve (RM2.99)
The Pumpkin soft serve is rich in pumpkin flavour and has a bright yellow colour.
In case you don't know what is Injeolmi, it is a type of Korean rice cake that is covered by roasted soybean powder. It has a toast-like crunchy texture instead of the chewy texture of rice cake.
The Injeolmi soft serve has a roasted rice flavour. Both soft serves are creamy and smooth. However, it is a little bit too sweet for me.
2. Hot & Spicy Tteokbokki (RM7.99)
The Tteokbokki are fresh and chewy. I like the spicy sauce too. The only downside is that the portion is small.
3. Delaffee drinks 230ml (Blue Lemon Ade, Hazelnut Coffee, Tart Cherry Ade) (RM3.49)
The packaging and design look really nice. I bought three different flavours.
Blue Lemon Ade is a lemonade but in bright blue colour. I quite like this.
Tart Cherry Ade is a lemonade pink in colour. It tastes quite sweet and sour.
Hazelnut coffee tastes like a sweet Americano. It will taste better if you add some milk.
Add some ice for a more refreshing taste
4. Matcha-monaka (RM7.10)
I like this matcha ice cream sandwich very much. The matcha flavour is rich and super tasty.
5. Binggrae Melona Melon 80g (RM4.50)
Another ice pop that I like very much. The refreshing melon flavour comes with a soft and chewy texture. Will definitely eat again in the future.
6. Mango Exotique (RM5.90)
This cute mango cake is delightfully moist and delicious. The moist cake is sandwiched with mango puree and cream. It has a soft texture and is filled with the aroma of mango.
7. Summer Litchi Mousse Roll 95g & Mango Sensation Mousse Roll 95g (RM5.90 each)
These mousse rolls are made with fluffy sponge cake and whipped cream. The sweetness is just right. It is a good dessert to enjoy during tea time or after a meal.
8. Kimchi Tuna Kimbap (RM9.90)
Kimbap, one of the Korean famous dishes. Sesame rice and ingredients such as kimchi, tuna, spinach, pickled radish and crab stick are rolled with seaweed and served in bite-sized slices. Overall it tastes okay.
These are all the foods and beverages I have tried so far. I am looking forward to trying out more foods for my next visit. CU Convenience Store is also available on Grab mart now.
