Ho Kow Hainam Kopitiam @ Petaling Street, KL

Ho Kow, one of the famous Kopitiam at KL, is packed with visitors every day. Founded since 1956, this Kopitiam is already 64 years old! It started from a small shop at Jalan Panggung, it has now refurbished and moved to a nearby shop at Jalan Balai Polis. It faces the main road so you can spot it easily. The new shop offers a classic and vintage feel, creating a nice atmosphere while you are enjoying your breakfast.




We reached around 8.30 a.m. and there is already a big crowd outside the shop. We took our queueing numbers and waited for around half an hour for our turn. If possible, visit them in the early morning before the food is sold out.







The founder, Uncle Ho was very friendly and always smiling to customers.

I have visited Ho Kow a few times before. I came again as I miss their butter kaya toast, half-boiled eggs and Hainanese Cham (perfect breakfast combination haha).
